During his career, Blane represented clients in the fields of general litigation, admiralty and maritime law and has acted as a board member and counsel to a number of privately held corporations. Blane’s practice included both commercial and personal injury litigation, insurance coverage disputes, products liability, international trade, transportation and cargo matters and environmental torts. He practiced at the trial and appellate levels in both State and Federal courts and is admitted in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama, the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit United States Courts of Appeals, the United States Court of International Trade and the United States Supreme Court.
