Best Environmental Education Curriculum and Course Awarded to Project CATE Foundation

On March 2, 2012 The Environmental Education Association of Alabama awards Best Environmental Education Curriculum and Course to Project CATE Foundation’s CD for Skeeter’s Wild Adventures. A story of a raccoon named Skeeter who makes it fun for viewers yet focuses on wildlife conservation and information.
Conservative Action Through Education (CATE) started as a collaborative effort of Neil Johnston  a member of Hand Arendall who practices in the Land Use and Environmental practice group  and Dr. Brenda Litchfield  an Education and Media Specialist at University of South Alabama, and now includes a development team to produce educational materials and activities. The CD’s have been distributed statewide and can be ordered at www.projectcate.com.
