Britton and Hamer Inducted into Birmingham Bar Foundation 2023 Class of Fellows

Hand Arendall Harrison Sale is pleased to share that two of the firm’s members, Rip Britton and Chris Hamer have been inducted into the Birmingham Bar Foundation Society of Fellows, Class of 2023.

Fellows are extended invitations based on their commitment to the Birmingham legal community, and only select number of lawyers and judges are invited. They must be members of the Birmingham Bar Association for a minimum of ten years and demonstrate excellence in their field of practice, civility in their profession and a commitment to the profession and civic leadership. The eleventh annual Fellows Dinner honoring new inductees was held on Friday February 24, 2023, at Vestavia Country Club, where the 2023 Classes of Fellows were recognized.

Britton is the managing member of the firm’s Birmingham office where he has worked for more than 30 years. He practices primarily in the areas of probate proceedings, guardianships, conservatorships, elder law planning, real property litigation, commercial litigation, and municipal and local government representation. Britton is also privileged to serve as the trustee for numerous individuals who have special needs and to administer their Special Needs Trusts and to counsel with them and their families.

Hamer is a member in the firm’s Birmingham office. He focuses his practice in the areas of probate administration, estate and trust litigation, guardianships and conservatorships, fiduciary representation and other complex litigation. Hamer is the immediate past Chair for the Probate Section of the Birmingham Bar Association.
