D. Sale named speaker at the Florida Municipal Attorneys Association
Harrison Sale McCloy Attorney and Past President of the Florida Municipal Attorneys Association, FMAA, Douglas J. Sale, Esquire has been asked to speak at the FMAA annual meeting in Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday.
The purpose of the FMAA is to unite both part-time and full-time municipal attorneys around the state of Florida that fosters cooperative solutions to legal problems that face Florida’s municipalities.
Sale’s presentation, The Use of Public/Private Partnerships and Economic Incentives in City Developments, will include information on the legal requirements of economic development incentives, aid to private corporations, the pledging of municipal credit and Florida’s “public purpose” test.
“I am honored to be a part of FMAA and have this opportunity to not only share information on economic processes and partnerships but also, network with peers and garner knowledge from them on topics impacting other cities and groups around our state,” said Sale.
Sale has served as the City Attorney for Panama City Beach for over 30 years. He also serves as the Panama City Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. He and his staff work primarily in the Panama City Office but the firm also has offices in Miramar Beach and Santa Rosa Beach.
