Hand Arendall Attorneys Attend Farnborough Airshow
Members Roger Bates, Preston Bolt and Caine O’Rear were part of the team that attended the Farnborough International Airshow to again promote Alabama to businesses.
The group met with state and local officials during the Airshow, along with business leaders in the aerospace industry, and discussed the current status of projects along with future Alabama expansion possibilities. Hand Arendall lawyers, including former Congressman Jack Edwards, have been closely involved in efforts to recruit new aerospace companies to the Mobile area, including the effort to bring both the EADS tanker program and the Airbus A-320 final assembly line. Members have also worked closely with the Department of Postsecondary Education on workforce development issues in Alabama.
Hand Arendall has a long history of promoting economic development in our State, said Roger Bates, managing lawyer of the firm. We were happy to have another chance to work with state and local officials and community leaders to support continued expansion of aviation industry in Alabama. We appreciate the opportunity to expand our existing relationships with those in attendance and to meet new potential members of our community.
