Local Attorney Appointed to the Florida Board of Bar Examiners
Hand Arendall Harrison Sale Attorney Amy Myers was appointed to membership on the Board of Florida Bar Examiners by the Supreme Court of Florida.
Myers received her bachelor’s degree from The University of Florida, and receiver her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2002. Myers is a member of the Florida Bar Local Government Law Section, the Land Use Section and the Elder Law Section. She Is eligible to practice in both the Northern and Southern Districts. She is a member of the St. Andrews Inn of Courts. She has presented an article titled “Analysis of the “Plainly Audible” Standard for Noise Ordinance” for the Inter Noise 2012 Conference. She currently serves as Secretary for the Trustees of the First United Methodist Church of Panama City, Florida. She is an Incorporator, Founding Member, and Secretary, for Impact 100 Gulf Coast, Inc. She is a past President of the Junior League of Panama City and Bay Arts Alliance.
The Florida Board of Bar Examiners is an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Florida charged with the responsibility of enforcing the Rules of the Supreme Court relating to admissions to The Florida Bar. This involves the administration of character and fitness background investigations as well as the supervision and grading of the Florida Bar Examination.
Myers’ term of office will begin November 1, 2024 and will extend through October 31, 2029.
