Maddalena and O’Dowd Elected as Members of Hand Arendall Harrison Sale

Hand Arendall Harrison Sale LLC is pleased to announce Julia Maddalena and Jack O’Dowd have been elected as members of the firm effective January 1, 2024.

Maddalena is a member in the firm’s Panama City Beach office. Maddalena’s practice is focused on municipal law as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Panama City Beach, general counsel representation of homeowner and condominium community associations, and general civil litigation.

Maddalena earned her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida, where she graduated cum laude. After graduating, Maddalena was hired as a Staff Attorney for the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she assisted the circuit judges with legal research and writing. She worked for the judiciary for three years, focusing primarily on civil litigation. She left the court in 2017 to pursue a career in private practice with Hand Arendall Harrison Sale LLC.

O’Dowd, a seasoned business lawyer in the firm’s Mobile office, has a wealth of experience in handling diverse transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and corporate law. In addition, O’Dowd is well-versed in guiding families through estate planning and probate court proceedings.

A lifelong Mobilian, O’Dowd earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of South Alabama and his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law. His previous experience as a Certified Public Accountant at a Big 4 accounting firm enhances his law practice.
