Neil Johnston and Project CATE Selected as 2012 Partners for Environmental Progress Community Partner Award

On April 17, 2012 Partners for Environmental Progress (PEP) selected Neil Johnston and the Project CATE Foundation (Conservation Action Through Education) for their 2012 award in recognition of over 20 years of providing award winning environmental conservation education materials to teachers and students throughout the South Alabama area free of charge. Project CATE has provided CD’s, participated in water festivals and helped develop the base curriculum for Coastal Kids Quiz (conservation scholarship competition) to educate youth about water conservation, groundwater, contamination and recycling.
