O’Rear and Hart Receive Defense Verdict

On February 3, 2016, firm attorneys Caine O’Rear and Christine Hart received a jury verdict in their client’s favor in a commercial contract case tried in federal court in Mobile. They represented Levada EF Five LLC, an investment company from New York, regarding breach of contract claims brought over the sale and development of 20,000 acres of oil and gas interests in Utah. The jury gave Levada a defense verdict on all of the plaintiffs claims and also awarded Levada approximately $1.5 million in damages on its counterclaim.
